What is different about Ultherapy
Your provider sees the layer being treated. Ultherapy PRIME shows a live ultrasound image of the tissue during the session.
It is FDA-cleared for lifting. Ultherapy is cleared in the United States to lift the brow, the area under the chin and the neck.

- Yes. Ultherapy uses focused ultrasound, the same family of technology people call HIFU. It adds real-time ultrasound imaging, so the provider sees the layer being treated.
- Do you offer Ultraformer or Shurink in NYC?
- No. SeoulSkin offers Ultherapy PRIME only. Ultraformer, sold as Shurink in Korea, is a different device from a different manufacturer. As of September 2026 it is not FDA-cleared in the United States.
- I had Ultraformer in Korea. Can I have Ultherapy?
- Usually, yes. Tell us when your last session was and which areas were treated. Your nurse decides at your in-person assessment whether Ultherapy is right for you now.
